At Allentown Central Catholic High School, our students have the opportunity to participate in any of the athletic teams we offer for boys and girls. ACCHS athletics help to develop self confidence, establish new relationships, strengthen athletic skills, and acquire a sense of teamwork. ACCHS sports teams are dedicated to fostering a competitive spirit which emphasizes dedication, discipline, school and team pride, respect for one's self as well as for teammates, coaches, opponents and officials. 

 

Most sports are offered at three levels – Freshman, Junior Varsity, and Varsity – giving athletes of all ages and abilities an opportunity to showcase their talents. We take great pride in knowing our student-athletes excel on and off the field. More than 60 percent of ACCHS students participate in interscholastic sports and intramural play within the school community.

 

Over the years, ACCHS athletic programs have enjoyed great success due to the dedicated efforts of the students and coaches, who together have worked toward the goal of making their teams and themselves as good as they are capable of being. Along with numerous championships won at the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference, county, and state level, many of our athletes graduate with an opportunity to compete at the collegiate level. ACCHS is proud of the accomplishments of all our athletes...past and present.

Registration for ACCHS sports is through FamilyID at www.familyid.com/organizations/allentown-central-catholic. FamilyID is a secure registration platform that provides you with an easy, user-friendly way to register for our programs, and helps us to be more administratively efficient and environmentally responsible. When you register through FamilyID, the system keeps track of your information in your FamilyID profile. You enter your information only once for each family member for multiple uses and multiple programs. Please use this program to complete the CIPPE forms (PIAA physical forms).

EPC CONFERENCE

Allentown Central Catholic High School is a member of the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference (EPC18). 

This conference is comprised of 18 member high schools formerly affiliated with the Lehigh Valley Interscholastic Athletic Conference

and the Mountain Valley Conference. The principals of the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference is to serve and unite local schools and communities through academic and athletic competition. The EPC18 places athletics in its proper perspective as a compliment to the academic program. Members of the EPC18 are committed to maximizing instructional time, promoting good sportsmanship and promoting equal and fair competition for all member schools.

 

COACHING WITH CHARACTER AND SPORTSMANSHIP

At ACCHS, all of our coaches have successfully passed the Allentown Diocese's Protecting God's Children course. Our coaches are skilled educators and leaders who support the winning traditions of our school. ACCHS coaches develop scholar-athletes – Viking and Vikette teams – that are dedicated to a higher standard of academic and athletic excellence with a focus on integrity, sportsmanship and mutual respect.
