Jacob M. Reichard as the New Head Coach of ACCHS Vikings Football
Allentown Central Catholic High School is excited to announce Jacob M. Reichard, Allentown Central Catholic alumni Class of 2005, as the new Head Coach of the ACCHS Vikings Football team. Coach Reichard brings 17 years of coaching experience and a passion for the sport of football.
Reichard is returning to Allentown Central Catholic, where he served as a coach for the Varsity Defensive Line and Freshman Defensive Coordinator/Offensive Line/Defensive Line from 2007 to 2018. Reichard coached the Viking Football team to the LVC League Championship (2009), DXI Championships (2009, 2010, 2011, 2012), DXI PIAA State Championship (2010), and EPC North Championship (2016). With his teams, he also reached District Playoffs in 2007, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2017, and 2018. Most recently, Reichard served as the Varsity Linebacker Coach at Emmaus High School from 2018 to 2024.
Reichard will oversee all aspects of maintaining a successful, competitive and safe athletic high school football program by providing instruction on fundamentals of the game. During his tenure at ACCHS, he supervised weightlifting activities as well as coached team in weightlifting competitions. He led and managed the Junior Varsity team, and oversaw all aspects of practice, game preparation, and player development. He built and maintained positive working relationships with hundreds of high school/college student athletes as well as high school/college coaches; and volunteered for youth camps.
Reichard’s approach is to be a positive, enthusiastic educator and coach with a focus on the success of his students and players. As a well-respected leader, he strives to bring together meaningful communication between teachers, parents and the community. Reichard is surrounding himself with an excellent group of coaches who have experience and understand the culture of Allentown Central Catholic football. ACCHS isexcited and honored to welcome back alumni Coach Jacob M. Reichard to lead our historically successful Viking Football program.
